Introducing the Primed BAL40 Collection

The Australian lifestyle is beyond compare. Many of our homes are surrounded by pristine natural beauty—even in the suburbs—and designed to complement the unique aesthetic of our land. Unfortunately, bushfires can be part of this experience and need to be considered when you build or renovate. Bushfire Attack Levels (also known as BALs) are a series of Australian Standards that outline different construction practices and building materials for five bushfire hazard levels. They are:

  • BAL 12.5: Low
  • BAL 19: Moderate
  • BAL 29: High
  • BAL 40: Very high
  • BAL FZ: Flame zone

The Primed BAL 40 Rural Collection is manufactured to meet the regulatory requirements of building to BAL 40 standards. To determine your home's BAL rating, and any special requirements for building in your area, contact your local council, government, or local fire authority.
